Day trip to Cooby Dam

Today we took a family trip to Toowoomba

First stop was lunch at sSs Steakhouse. NP and I shared a chicken burger. It was YUM.

Next stop ended up being Cooby Dam just outside of Highfields

We then drove down to the picnic area, it was a picturesque setting and very quiet...

and we found this Kooka watching our every move....



There was a great playground here for the kids...



including these slippery slides and the climbing frame in the background ....



as well as this flying fox.....



I thought at least one of them would end up in the mud.



on the way back we stopped at the wall again to walk across it, just as we got all the way across it started to Rain and we got wet again.
