Well, we decided to go for a bit of a Sunday drive.
We were originally going to head out to Wivenhoe Dam, but on further research we found out that dogs are not allowed out there. So we settled on Atkinson's Dam instead.
When we got there, we were surprised to see how many Seadoo's were there. One lot were using their Seadoo's to tow people around on wake boards.
At one stage I couldn't see CB, and when I called out her name all I heard was giggling from the back of the car. When I went over there this is what I saw.
After lunch we went for a bit of exploration along the shoreline of the dam to find a place where we could let Miley of the lead for a bit of a run. Now, I don't understand why people make soooooo much fuss about having a 4WD. Mate the Tiida has it all over them. She went through the wilderness like a trooper, and now the underside shines like a mirror from the buffing she got from all the grass.
Miley enjoyed the run around, and we even introduced her to the water, however after throwing the ball into the water, at ever increasing distances to try and get her swimming, she got to the point where she couldn't stand up anymore, so instead of starting to swim, she kept walking on the bottom of the dam. Naturally she didn't like that very much and jumped back out to the shoreline.
After the girls got out of the water and started drying off, JP let out this almighty scream. It was a scream that I haven't heard since she broke her arm, so naturally I thought the worst and when I finally calmed her down enought to get some sense out of her she said
"I"VE GOT LEACHES ON ME, I"VE GOT LEACHES ON ME, I'm not a country girl, i'm a makeup and mall girl !!!!!"
Well that was a crack up in itself, meanwhile little ol' CB was just standing on her towel calmly picking them off her and throwing them on the ground.
And so following an afternoon of fun, food and frivolity we set off on our homeward journey back to sillyvisation, only stopping for a milkshake at a quaint little coffee/craft shop in Fernvale.
