Sleeping Beauty
When I woke up this morning, this is how I found our little angel.
Obviously she got hot in the course of the night and spun around into this very comfortable position.
What's more, is that when frequenting our bed at night, she works her way onto this position between NP and me. No need to comment on how comfortable that is.

Building Tattoine (My New Computer)
G'day All.
Well, I had organised to have next Thursday off work to go and get all the components for our new computer, but alas, I couldn't wait and headed down to GameDude at Springwood on Saturday morning.
It took a while to build, as this was the first time I have built a computer from scratch. I read and re-read each manual before installing the parts.
The hardest part of the whole process was trying to get the cabling (the psu has so many cables to it) as neat as possible to try and improve the air flow in the case.
So, as you can see from the image below the journey was a success and an excellent learning curve for a mid level geek (some might place me a bit higher on the geek tree though).

Head over to Our Flickr site to see the whole Step By Step.

XXXX Angels
Hundreds of Motor Racing fans gathered at Reddacliff Place in Brisbane City today as the XXXX Angels accompanied Craig Lowndes, Jamie Whincup, Russell Ingall and a host of Indy drivers to promote the Indy 300 by signing Posters, Shirts and other fan paraphanalia during the lunchtime promotion.
The XXXX Angels wowed the crowds with three provocative dance routines then followed up with an opportunity for their fans to have their photo taken with the "Angels". I'm sure some of the punters thought they were in heaven. (Ed. Groan)
Editors Note: Sorry Lowndsey, I know you won Bathurst and all,but I still think you could do so much better in a Holden.

JP's Krazee Faces
We bought some lollies from the shop and JP got the teeth and pulled some faces. She is a crack up.
She is so animated in her actions, I think she will be a comedienne.

See the images below for more action.
We spent 3.5 hours on the oval traipsing between all the different rides.

Moon over Smythville
I took this photo of the moon from the back landing of our house.
This was an interesting learning experience. The camera meter said to take the shot at iso 100 f/8 1/30 s 300mm. But that gave a very washed out moon (click here to see the results of this one).
Changing the setting to the following gave the result you see here.

Walking on the new bikeway
ICC are making a new bikeway from Brassall into North Ipswich. We went for a little walk along the new bikeway last night while waiting for our pizza.
We ordered a New Orleans from Pizza Capers, just in case you were interested.
The picture below is looking back towards North Ippy from the northern pedestrian barrier.
A very cool full moon was out as well.

Spring Swim Fun
We went to Big Nanna and Poppy's place on Saturday for a visit.
When we got there my Uncle Russ and Aunty Sharon and cousin Nicole had popped in for a visit as well.
After Lunch the girls got in the pool and didn't get out again for about 3 hours. OOOOP. I tell a little lie, they got out a few times to jump in the spa.

Gender Biased Advertising
I stopped to snap a Pic of this advert on the back of the bus. (A bit hard to see here)I thought it interesting that the powers that be would allow an Ad of a half naked woman on the back of the bus but would not allow ads of a man in undies in almost the same pose.
Hypocrites !
To see it better click on the photo to link to the larger image. Below is the add that was banned in Queensland for being too racey.

A Cool Show for Kids of all ages.
We went to have lunch with NP today after seeing "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" at the movies.
After lunch we watched Fudzwallop the clown. This clown was excellent. His jokes spanned the generations that were watching.
JP got to go up on stage to do a magic trick.
She made a rabbit appear out of an empty box. She did and excellent job, as you can see here she was successful in making the rabbit appear.
She was so impressed as she had never patted a rabbit before.
